PUSH Ministry Receives Continued Support from Truist Bank to Enhance Financial Literacy Program

We are thrilled to announce that PUSH Ministry has been awarded a generous grant from Truist Bank to continue and expand our Credit Reporting Program. This funding will significantly enhance our ongoing efforts to provide vital financial education and credit-building services to our residents.

Empowering Our Community

Thanks to the initial support from the Credit Builders Alliance in partnership with Experian, our Credit Reporting Program has already made a substantial impact. Now, with the continued support of Truist Bank, we are poised to reach even more residents and deepen the positive effects of our initiatives.

Program Highlights

1. Credit Reporting Services: Our innovative program includes a rent reporting service that allows residents to have their monthly rent payments reported to credit bureaus. This can significantly improve their credit scores, opening doors to better financial opportunities.

2. Financial Education: In collaboration with Truist’s Financial Inclusion Team, we will offer financial literacy courses tailored to the needs of our residents. These courses cover essential topics such as budgeting, credit management, and long-term financial planning.

3. Community Impact: The success of our program is evident in the tangible improvements in the credit scores of participating families. Enhanced creditworthiness leads to greater financial stability, access to better loan terms, and even opportunities for homeownership.

Our Mission

At PUSH Ministry, our mission is to cure housing instability and promote economic self-sufficiency among our residents. The initial funding from the Credit Builders Alliance and Experian laid a strong foundation for our program, and this new grant from Truist Bank enables us to build on that foundation with even greater impact. Together, these partnerships ensure that more individuals and families have the opportunity to build a secure financial future.

Looking Ahead

We are excited about the potential of this program and the positive changes it will bring to our community. The collaboration with Truist Bank is a testament to the power of partnerships in driving meaningful change and fostering financial inclusion.

Stay tuned for updates on the progress of our Credit Reporting Program and the success stories of our residents. Together, we are building a stronger, more financially empowered community.
