PUSH Ministry is a Community Housing Development Organization dedicated to affordable housing preservation.

Our Story
We bring together licensed construction expertise, interior design, and the profound, exhausting, and deeply meaningful reality of raising a child with special needs in Georgia.

The Professional Foundation
Before Adaptive Care Solutions, we operated a traditional contracting business focused on safety residential & commercial improvements. Our work includes performing accessibility and safety repairs for low-income households and disabled veterans through programs funded by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) and The Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD).

That experience taught us how to navigate state-funded programs, execute structural modifications with precision, and prioritize functionality above all else. Combined with a strong background in interior design, we developed an approach that considers both structural integrity and the emotional impact of a space.

We understand how to translate real-world needs into practical, buildable solutions and how to communicate those needs clearly within systems that require documentation, justification, and accountability.

Everything changed when our child was diagnosed with Level 2 Autism Spectrum Disorder and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Accessibility took on a completely different meaning.
It was no longer just about ramps or mobility—it became about safety, regulation, and survival inside the home.
We experienced firsthand what many families quietly live through every day:
-
Walls that cannot withstand repeated impact
-
Lighting that triggers sensory overload
-
Environments that escalate, rather than calm, distress
-
The constant fear of injury, elopement, or crisis
Standard homes are not designed for neurodivergent individuals with significant sensory and behavioral needs. And we quickly realized something even more difficult: There were very few people who understood both the structural requirements to modify a home and the real reasons those modifications were necessary.
Why We Built Adaptive Care Solutions
We created Adaptive Care Solutions to bridge that gap.
To bring together:
-
Construction knowledge
-
Design expertise
-
Lived experience
-
And a deep respect for the families and clinicians navigating this system
When we walk into a home, we don’t just see materials: we see patterns, risks, and opportunities to create stability.
We understand how to align environmental changes with real behavioral and functional needs, and we design spaces that support safety, regulation, and independence.
Who We Serve
We support families across Georgia caring for individuals with:
-
Autism Spectrum Disorder
-
Cerebral palsy
-
Down syndrome
-
Epilepsy
-
And other Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Our participants range from young children to adults—anyone whose home environment is contributing to injury risk, dysregulation, or reduced independence.
We also work closely with support coordinators and occupational therapists to help translate clinical recommendations into real, implementable home solutions.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple:
To make safe, sensory spaces, that align with the real needs of the people living in them.
We approach every project with the same urgency and care we would apply in our own home.
Because we understand what it means to be:
-
exhausted
-
hyper-aware
-
constantly adapting
And we believe every family deserves a space that works with them—not against them.
